Sometimes

Sometimes the rose
needs to primp its petals
and blossom forth
just as the blade
of grass
needs to stand up
straight and tall
just as the sun
much come out
and share warmth
and burning power
at the
same time
just as a person
must pick
him or herself up
and be everything
the light within
burns to be
