It's Dark

It's dark
And there's too much sadness
The heart
comes bursting out
of the corner
to stomp across
the field of life
in bold defiant steps
it says,
"I'm here and i refuse to leave
until I have lived my dream"
and the little part
of the soul that almost died
comes to life again
