We can spend our lives seeking the approval of those around us, and yet, approval doesn't lie in anyone else's hands but our own. We can seek to be accepted, and yet, again, acceptance doesn't lie in anyone else's hands but our own.
All that effort we spend on fluffing our feathers, strutting our stuff and agonizingly intellectualizing why we should be worthy to be accepted as a part of this crowd or that crowd...yet our energy is better utilized by accepting ourselves.
Because no matter how many people accept us and love us and think we're cool and all that stuff, if we don't deeply and truly believe that ourselves, we won't believe them! And there is no amount of persuasion that will work. Eventually we will meander off and begin the process all over again somewhere else, hoping against all odds, that this time we will be loved and accepted in this group, person, community, etc.
You can stop the process anytime by accepting yourself. 100%. Unlock the beliefs hiding deep that lead you to believe that you are not worthy of love and acceptance, replace them with better beliefs. And then, go out and bless others todo the same thing. You think that group of people you want to be accepted in is beyond what you just went through? Every one of them is dealing with the same thing.
"As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
Now - go out in the world and bless the world with your beautiful presence.
Blessings.
