When Morning Comes

When morning comes, that which lives inside of you will not have left; that which you try hard to forget will still be there; that which you wish you could wish away will still belong to you. When the evening comes it will not have changed. When the morning after that comes, still.

When will the day come that you choose rather to embrace what you are feeling and thereby set it free so that you can move on? Life is too wrought with the responsibility of learning the lessons we need to learn to sit in denial or resistance. For fear of pain they produce so much more pain and why would you want to put yourself through that?

So, you feel alone and lonely; embrace it. The depth of life and the connection to God is found in a silence that is in you and you alone, whether you are with others or not; and that is something to celebrate, especially if you are alone and given the opportunity to investigate. So you feel stressed, overwhelmed, exhausted from life; say thank you. The body is the notice-board that alerts you to your own boundaries, boundaries that are so very important to honor and keep.

Whatever you feel, it's there for a reason, you are being given the opportunity to examine something deeper. When morning comes, let it be with the peace of mind that comes with having examined the experience of life and the feelings it churns up; know the peace from having learned from it, and from being freed from it.

Blessings.
