Grand Illusion

The difference between what is happening and what we think should be happening is not just stress. Stress is a typical response to that, but it's not the only typical response; only think about anger. When you are angry, you are angry because of the difference between what is happening and what you think should be happening. When you are feeling resistance, you are resisting what is, what you need to do, because it is different from what you think should be or what you think you should be doing. When you are feeling resentment, you are resenting the difference between what is and what you think should be.

The Grand Illusion is that we think things should be the way we think they should be, rather than what they are; it is the idea that what is, isn't already supremely, pristinely, incredibly perfect already.

Consciousness comes in the moments when we recognize that it already is perfect, and we stop trying to mold our lives, our jobs, our surroundings, our relationships, our planet around what we think things should be, and when we start honoring what is.

You can choose the illusion in all it's grand allure, or you can choose happiness, peace, and joy by honoring what is, rather than trying to forcefully mold the world into your projection of what it should be. Peace is only possible in this state of consciousness.Survival of the human species is only possible in this state of consciousness. Happiness is only possible in this state of consciousness.

Everyday, every moment, it's a new choice. Choose well.

Blessings.
