We cannot, we simply cannot remain victims of perpetual fear. It is what causes us to make all the wrong choices, choices that might satisfy an immediate need for survival or love or something, but choices that immenently leave us thinking, "If only I had..." It is what makes us unhappy in life.
There is the place inside of love, passion, grace, compassion, and incredibly joy. Anytime we choose fear we are actively choosing the opposite - we are choosing yesterday over today, we are choosing illusion over now, we are choosing to be the initiator of our very own unhappiness. And then one day we wake up and sing, "Wake me up inside, wake me up inside, bid my blood to run, save me from the nothing I've become," searching all the time for that which is outside of us to make us happy, once again choosing fear.
We simply cannot remain victims of this perpetual fear. It is a condition much, much worse than the hamster on the wheel, because somewhere inside is that seed of truth, the place that knows it is up to us to choose the love, to choose the passion, to choose to embrace life fully and melt into the moment completely. It is all inside, it is a choice.
This is the place of dreams, the place where passion forms the path and we step towards destiny, the place we know we are of worth, that our being here, now, has reason and value and it is because we said, "yes" to bliss and happiness.
Blessings.
