Please Believe in Me

What is this with our seemingly incessant need for someone else to believe in us? It's like we need a partner, a lover, a parent, a teacher, a boss, a friend to "believe in us" so that we can be who we are and do amazing things because of who we are.

But there's something goofy with the formula. We are who we are with or without the belief of any individual outside of ourselves. We are capable of amazing things whether or not there is someone standing there who believes in us. We are intricately and irrevocably masters of our very own greatness and potential ourselves and it has nothing to do with anyone else.

Granted, it may give us an elated boost to be believed in, but it is a boost of the go. Deep down - we, and only we, are the ones who have to believe.

Do you believe in you?? Are you certain that someone else has to believe in you, in order for you to reach your greatness? What is one thing you can do today to shift that to belief in yourself?

Blessings.
