Well, yes, the Universe can send bumps and jolts to shake things up, but in the end, it is still and always up to us to respond. We can respond with a resounding waahooo, or we can steal away out of the limelight of life's pulsing energy completely - it's our choice entirely.
Sometimes all of change requires only one step on your part. You are not required to climb an entire mountain today, you need only put your foot in a new place. You are not required to run the race, you need only take a step. You are not required to change the world, you only have to move an inch. You are not required to set your life straight, you only need to move a teensy tiny bit.
The Universe is so wonderful - as soon as you take that one little step it will soar up to greet you.
Life happens because of our energy. If the energy is stilted and stuck how can the juice of the Universe flow? By moving even the smallest little bit, energy shifts, and the moment energy is set into motion, anything can happen - dreams can happen, change can happen, miracles can happen.
All the spiritual teachers of our time are saying this same thing - energy goes where is already flows. If you strive for prosperity, remember to vibrate the energy of prosperity. If you seek love, remember to emanate love from the deepest part of your being. If you desire sincerity and earnestness in life, bring those energies forward in yourself. And if you can't stand your life the way it, be willing to take a single step.
Yes, you may need to take another single step tomorrow, but you can deal with that tomorrow. Today, when you have taken your step, you can bask in the resounding echo of the Universe - that energetic swell of life within.
