There are some basic elements to happiness that can be aided and abetted - - -
1. Do something you LOVE everyday. Make sure that one part of everyday is spent doing something that brings a spontaneous smile to your face, something that fills you with joy and well-being, something that nurtures you.
2. Elevate your space. Do something every day for your higher self. Meditate, chant, sing, pray...just make sure that there is time each day for something that specifically speaks to your spirit.
3. Find some kindness every day. Really - be kind to yourself. Work every day to stop trashing yourself and treating yourself like you were the worst thing on the planet and be nice. Look deep into yourself and remember. Look at your favorite photo of yourself and remember the traits you love most about yourself and learn to love yourself again.
4. Do whatever it takes to talk yourself out of judgment. There is no way on the planet that you can know better than God. Let it be - even when you disagree, and search instead for the beauty of the moment, find your place of gratitude and make that the story you stick to. Forget the rest; the anger, the frustration, people are going to be who they are and they are that way because it is what their soul chose in this life. That's their deal with God - don't fiddle!
5. Seek balance. Experience all the excitement of life and also honor silence. Socialize and also honor alone-time. Talk and also listen. Chew your food slowly and thoroughly. Just like a child, everything in life calls to the present moment to see it, notice it, love it, give it attention. The now is calling you. Come closer, hop back in your body and give the moment some of the attention it needs to fully blossom.
