Love Story of Life

I have figured out the underlying theme of every love story - - We all have these shells around us, this stoic pride, this careful exterior to hide our vulnerable interior. And love is when two people open up that armor far enough to show the tender and vulnerable underbelly of the soul and the other doesn't rip it up. They both realize they are safe and voila, you have your love story.

Wouldn't every moment of life be its own love story if we just shed the armor? On the one hand - the heart chakra opens and closes for a reason - or does it? If, in the presence of fear, we remain open and loving, we change the world. So back to the question - wouldn't every moment of life be its own love story, if we just shed the armor in the first place?

Maybe it would. Maybe we wouldn't go through life defending. Maybe we would go through life sucking in each moment, savoring it and then letting it go to suck in the next. Maybe we would experience the love story of life itself. Maybe we would become the vehicles of love and the power of healing in the world.

I'm just sayin'...

Blessings.
