Sometimes in life you just have to suspend your belief and take a leap of faith. Amazing things have been known to happen when we are so willing.
It's more than taking a risk - a risk is something where you are calculating possibilities. That's a whole different mental exercise. The suspension of belief is like leaping into the water before sticking your toe in and deciding whether it's too cold first. Suspending belief is an exercise in letting go of calculations, letting go of the need to figure out what's going to happen, what could happen, what might happen. And it is a leap of faith for this very reason. It's not only that you don't know, it's that you are committed to not intellectualizing the possibilities and just allowing them to happen.
We have seen again and again how very much our thoughts control our lives and the outcomes we live with everyday. Suspending belief and taking a leap of faith is like agreeing to not allow thoughts to have that control for a defined period of time.
It's not about making risky (or stupid) choices, it's about following your heart, being really, really present, and moving with the flow of the moment to live your greatest life, be Who You Really Are and give to the world what you came here to give. Sometimes that is all a leap of faith is doing - pushing you toward the most genuine, authentic and sincere self you can be so that you can live your highest destiny. It might seem scary, but suspending your belief and taking a leap of faith into that is worth it.
Blessings.
