Things I Know For Sure

1. It's easy to believe that what you think is right. It's not always true that what you think is right.

2. If you like someone and call them your friend, it is totally not the same as if they call you their friend. We are too often deceived by our belief that what we feel someone else feels too when it is so often not true.

3. Loyalty is a powerful, powerful aspect of human nature, that is being battered to smithereens by our "modernized" cultures

4. The purr of a cat or the wag of a dog's tail is almost the most unconditional love you can receive. (Actually, that's a little sad.)

5. You can count on God. Unless you've worked out the particulars, it's much harder to count on those around you.

6. Gratitude will save any day and any situation; it will rescue you from any pain, sorrow, anger or darkness; it will make you human again.

7. We are all stronger than we know.

8. Silence is golden, and sometimes it feels pretty darn platinum-like to talk it out.

9. Our thoughts and our beliefs are what hold us back from the beauty, grace and happiness we so yearn for.

10. As E.K. says, "Everything will be fine in the end. If it's not fine, it's not the end." Be patient.

Blessings.
