You have no right to judge me
as if honest effort weren't enough
as if I didn't learn from every
mistake I've ever made
as if I was less than
You have no right to judge me
or to devalue my knowledge
as less worthy than your own
To judge me you would
have to really know me
Not an occasional discussion
or a few disparate facts
a mile would not be enough
you'd have to walk a lifetime
in my shoes
to know me
You might wield your judgment
like a pedestal
But I know that when we separate ourselves
There is no truth left
How far above me can you be
when you have forgotten
there is no separate God for you
up there alone
Honesty integrity passion truth
Your judgment is nothing against those
Cut it off
the cancerous judge
before it eats you up
and in the meantime
I will forget
that you judged me
and take care
not to let it happen again
