The Passion of Our Hearts

To jump out of our weariness
to jump out of the still heavy weight
that drags us down
to jump out of the skin
we have painted ourselves in
to jump in to the passion
of our hearts
our souls
our very beings
this is the purpose of life.

What we let hold us back
is simply a shame
That passion burns
and aches for release
and when it isn't released
it burns and aches
inside of us
until we simply
become weary with it.

The passion of your heart
is calling you!
Take heed.
Yes! Pay attention!
A tomorrow without passion
is a trudging duplicate of yesterday
Break out of that old hard shell
and break into the sweet sweat
of your energy
your spirit
your power

The passion of your heart
is the only renewable energy
your body
your soul
your life
will ever need.
