The Stronger Pull of What You Really Love

If you place a boulder in the middle of a stream, the stream doesn't stop flowing. But when we, as humans, get some kind of boulder type thing blocking our paths, what do we do? Any of these sound familiar - - Get angry? Get upset? Get depressed? Start complaining? Start blaming it for all the things we couldn't do in life?

None of those responses do anything. They're just a temporary reactions; we didn't get our way. Water loves to flow and it does not let anything stop it, no boulder, no tree, no landslide even; eventually, with persistance and persistance and persistance, the water will find its way around, through, under, over the boulder. It is driven to flow, because that's what it does.

But will we? Will you? What life sets in front of you is a gift, if you will accept it. If the strength of your passion flows strongly enough, nothing that is put in front of you will ever stop you. It may slow you down, it may make you look for ways around, under, over it, but it won't stop you.

"Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you really love." Rumi

Life is full of boulders - they are everywhere. You can choose the reaction - to no avail, or you can choose the passion. There is nothing else, just this opportunity in this moment to live the passion of what you really love, and to allow nothing to stop you from flowing towards the essence of your being.

Water doesn't ask, it simply flows on its path. We struggle and struggle trying to force ourselves into shallow pools, trying to rationalize what our essence is, trying to "find" it, but our essence is our greatness. The place where you serve in your highest capacity as a human being, the place where there are no more questions, where you are Who You Really Are without any doubt, the place where you are exuberant, joyful, passionate and grounded, this is the place of your greatness. There is alignment, there is flowing grace, there is Love.

Will you let the boulders in life stop the stronger pull of what you really love? Or will you flow around them?

Blessings.
