Hope springs eternal and is that not a good thing? Those moments of genuine happiness aren't always by, life in its complexity brings us everything to taste, to touch and experience.
And so one day there is peace, and on another day there is sadness, and on another day there is deep joy, and on another day there is quiet, and on some days it is a little hodge-podge of many things.
Through all this, hope springs eternal to remind us never to let go of the understanding that we hold the keys to love and joy in our own hands, in our willingness to be with the moment as it is, in our willingness to open, even when we are afraid, in our willingness to process even more deeply and to receive the gifts we are given.
Ah, it is a beautiful thing, this hope; reminding us that what we are is what brings us forward and yet again the same thing that brings all else towards us so that we may meet for the purpose of sharing.
If I am fanciful tonight, let it be said it is hope's doing, for in hope's light I have faith and can afford to whimsically admire the casual quiet, the magenta behind a golden cloud, the taste of a kiss, the pull of the heart, and the lure of my dreams enough to believe they will manifest. And then to make it happen by being open to the Infinite miracles and resources of the Universe, by allowing hope to spring eternally in my heart.
Blessings.
