Bricks

When it comes down to it, nothing will get things done faster than just doing it. There is so much frustration and welled-up anger and pain in procrastination and resistance, it's just easier to get up, get moving and get it done.

But then again, it's so easy to get caught up in our defenses, caught up in our self-righteousness, caught up in all the justifiable reasons for the anger or the resistance. And what good does that do?

Bricks can be used in many useful ways; they can make houses and pathways, all sorts of things; but when they create a wall so high and so strong that it stops you from participating in life are they still useful? There are reasons and reasons, there are principles and principles, but when they stop you from living - it's time to look at them again and reconsider.

Life offers us bricks for building pathways that take us forward or or for building walls that hold us back - that choice is ours to make. Choose well.

Blessings.
