Where Wonder is Found

The wonder equation:

Presence - judgment - preconceptions - fear = wonder

It is then you look up and see a sky so filled with stars it makes your heart skip a beat in awe. It is then that you feel your tired day disappear as a child warps thin arms around you. It is then that you feel the sweetness of a cat who comes to sprawl comfortably on your lap. It is then that you know you are loved whether you are alone or not. It is then that you breathe in the salty and exuberant mist of the sea. It is then that you sit and breathe in fully so that every inch of your lungs are engaged in the momentary bliss of deep breath. It is then that the stress falls away and the moment is peaceful.

This is where wonder is found. In the moment. If only you will come and be here too, wonder is the gift you are given.
