For no reason

There has to be a part of us that acts out of selflessness. We have to be able to do things without thought of personal gain. It is only when we give freely, that we receive the bounty of the universe - because our own minds are so much more limited than the Infinite capacity of the universe.


It is when you are willing to be kind without the expectation of receiving kindness back, that you will be showered with it. It is only when you are willing to give of yourself without expectation of what you will receive in return, that you are blessed with abundance. Because energy flows where thoughts go...if you are thinking of what you need (i.e. what you need to get back from something), you are projecting neediness; if you are thinking of filling your own pockets, you are projecting that you have empty pockets; if you are only tithing to get the ten-fold in return you are, once again, only projecting need.


When you give of yourself freely, you are projecting plenty, you are projecting kindness, you are projecting love and the universe answers in kind.


There is always time to give something of yourself, even if it is just a kind word or a smile. And, amazingly, the more you practice it, the easier it gets to make it a habit that extends itself throughout your day and throughout your life. Bless the world with your kindness for no reason and you will be blessed beyond anything you could imagine.
