There are so many little ways unconscious death wishes play out in real life, it comes down to the question, are you willing to be want to be here, and with that, are you willing to accept life as the greatest gift of all?
We have to battle this again and again, moment for moment. We are brought up with minds that imagine, and images that are screen painted and airbrushed, with make-believe princes, fairy-tale endings and a mentality that sells us on anything is possible. Maybe anything is possible, but it's not the point; the point is that what is here right now, is here right now, and that whatever possibility might be at some other time, is another moment in another time to totally and completely live and appreciate then. And the problem with imaginings is that they lead us to believe that we are in control of something: I have this image and that is how it is supposed to be; if it isn't something is wrong.
Wanting to be here embraces the fact that dreams are dreams and present moment is present moment, and it even goes further to the place of knowing and understanding this moment is the most perfect of all, and thank goodness you wanted to be here.
There is a little part of each of us that wants and desires those things we think about, and there is the heart of us that calls us back to this precious moment, so beautiful and so amazing, if we only want it. Bless the moments of this day, give thanks for the gift by wanting to be here.
I give special thanks for my best friend who reminds me again and again that we are all a perfect part of the perfect whole, that we all struggle with the same battles no matter how they're dressed.
Blessings.
