Imagine if...

Imagine if that guy who pulled out in front of you didn't do it because of you, maybe he wasn't trying to be a jerk to you at all, maybe he was just trying to get to the hospital after a busy work day to see his wife after her surgery.

Imagine if those kids who were goofing off in the far corner of the street weren't even thinking about you, maybe they were really trying to figure out how to help one of their classmates whose parents were in a bad way.

Imagine if the person who was not quite polite wasn't that way because of you, maybe they were in deep fear of losing their house and distracted with the thoughts about what it was going to do to their family.

Imagine if all the things that other people did really had nothing to do with you at all.

Imagine if every one of those people all had their own worries, their own fears, their own problems they were trying to work out in this crazy game of life.

Imagine that it isn't always about you.

But then again - maybe it is.

Because yours is the choice: you can take every little thing as a personal affront, or you can look into other people and see that they are struggling just like you.

Imagine that much compassion for each other.

Oh, what a wonderful world.

Blessings.
