Honor

Honor is a mainline theme for life! Every life. I remember reading about honor in the word quality in the book Zen and the Art of Motercycle Maintenance. Honor and duty - are mainline issues, the self-same issue as living one's highest destiny, and being true unto one's self. It is our duty to be honorable. It is our duty to crack out of shells we are hiding behind, to change behaviors that hide our true selves, and to remove any obstacle from ourselves that prevents us from being Who We Really Are.

There is only fear or love. In fear you can't be who you really are. It is only by fully embracing and loving every part of yourself that you are honoring your birth and your presence on this earth. And you can't hide from it anyway. Those infamous moments of your life flashing before your eyes before passing, that's like the evaluation survey: did you honor your duty to be the best that you could possibly be?

But why wait? There is no reason to wait in fear for a final few seconds of life. Everyday we are given the opportunity anew to step out of dysfunction, step out of denial, step out of hiding and shine the bright lights of our souls to the world.

Shine today!

Blessings.
