Resolving Resistance

There is nothing for it but to find the resistance and resolve it into nothingness.

Life is simply too short and too full of wonderfulness to be pushing up no against it all the time. Resistance is an outward symptom of an inward "No" to life and that's not something to skim over. It needs our attention, which is probably why resistance causes so much pain - so we notice it and do something about it!

Life calls for us to be present, and yet when we don't like what we're doing, being present is the last thing we're going to do. But that is so self-defeating. Instead of taking positive progressive action to change a situation, we are simply stifling truth within ourselves and eventually that gets extremely painful. If you don't like what you're doing - take steps to change it. So maybe everything won't change tomorrow, but guaranteed if you place one foot in front of the other you will move to a different place eventually.

Within presence lies the gratification and contentment, the joy and happiness of life that we so passionately desire, but again, it's only available in presence and if we're avoiding the present...

It goes around and around like that. You have to choose. You have to choose between being willing to like where you're at or changing where you're at. There really is nothing for it but to find the resistance inside yourself and resolve it into nothingness.

You deserve that kind of happiness. Now it's just a matter of loving yourself enough to make yourself that happy! Go for it. You're worth it!

Blessings.
