There is a fine line in the place between flow and push. Push is fueled entirely by ego, whereas flow is fueled by the Infinite. It is so easy to think we're doing right and get wrapped up in all we have to accomplish and achieve in life to be worthy, but if we're pushing, we are wrapped up in the force of ego and what we think. That's a very different story from when we look at the possibilities and flow with the energy.
The fact that we are even trying to be worthy, when we were born worthy shows that the thinking process is so way out of alignment that it is not even trustworthy in this instance.
The greatest miracle in life is to be present and grateful for the gifts you have been given. To live in the constant shadow of wanting something else is what creates such a deep depression in our lives; then we get weighed down with the results of "self-medicating" - buying too much, going too much in debt, eating too much, partying too much...
So how do we know the difference between push and flow? Push is hard, there is suffering involved, it is tiring and difficult, it is painful, there is doubt. Flow in direct contrast is easy, there is no suffering involved, it is enlivening and effortless, there is no pain and there is no doubt.
If you look at your life today, if you close your eyes and meditate on all the things going on in your life, breathing deeply and getting into a neutral space, you will intuitively know what is push and what is flow in your life. This is a year of learning to let go of any push and move towards flow in your life. This is a year of letting go of that underlying belief that everything needs to be hard and to hurt for it to be of any value. This is a year of learning to dance and flow towards fulfillment, happiness and joy.
Blessings.
