It's a novel thought - but consider it. What if every pain we felt was the result of holding something?
We hold grudges, we hold the experiences of our past, we hold embarrasments, hurts, and so many other things - and all of these things fester and rot inside us. They keep on and on festering until the pain reaches our consciousness. And then all of a sudden we are going to doctors and looking for treatments to treat external symptoms of the stuff we've stuffed so deeply away within ourselves.
Pain is relieved when we release all of these things and there are a few ways to do that:
- Forgive
- Forgive
- Forgive
When we can come to that place of forgiving ourselves and all others for forgetting Who We Really Are and remembering that each of us really is that "perfect part of the Perfect Whole" in that moment, we are releasing the source of our pain. Yes, we may need to cleanse the wounds a little, especially the ones that have festered so long, but once we have let go, the healing can begin.
It's a novel thought - but consider it. What if every pain we felt was the result of holding something? What if we were willing to let go of it? What if we were willing to forgive?
Consider it.
Blessings.
