Quiet: Grown-ups at Play!

What happened to play time? In this age of unending busy-ness, when everyone is duplicating the efforts of every member of the tribe themselves, when there is hardly time to breathe, much less stretch or think or do something remotely resembling not completely stressed there IS no play time.

That's because we lose what we don't use. It's time to take the time to play. It's time to lay down the stress and learn to laugh at silly jokes and the simple pleasures of a child being goofy, it's time to loosen up, dance a silly jig, laugh in the funniest way possible, make funny faces, participate in "make up the strangest word contests" and in general act silly and foolish for a while.

For an hour. Half an hour. 10 minutes. Ok, ok, just one minute. Can you do it for one minute?

Our modern societies act as if having good, honest, clean fun is against the law, or perlious for your health (watch it, you might catch something!), or TOO TIME-CONSUMING.

Just refuse to allow it to be too time-consuming to have fun and play. Take back your heart. Laughter is the same release as tears - laugh and laugh until you are empty and giddy and happy. Today is the day to learn how to play again.

Even if it's only one minute to start with...go for it!

Blessings.
