The Almost Hidden Knowledge

There is a knowledge with us, an almost hidden knowledge, that is a running dialogue weighing in on everything that's going on. "No, not this street," "yes, the papers you are missing are here in this pile," "uh oh, this relationship is not a good idea," "uh oh, don't let this relationship slip away," etc. etc.

This nearly hidden knowledge is like the perfect compass - and it's attached, we can't lose it, but we sure can lose touch with it. And what a shame. That's when we do the things we later regret, that's when we're not paying attention and end up having topay for it in unsavory or painful ways, that's when we hit ourselves on the head and go, saying why??

We are driven my a multitude of energies, not the least of which is our own mishmash and carzy ideas for what is absolutely right and has to happen. There's survival energy, sexual energy, gleeful energy, fear, panic, frustration, loneliness, and a thousand other energies and if we are not 100% aware of them, they end up taking over the steering wheel and what a disaster that becomes!

But mostly it's fear that stops us from seeing, hearing and honoring that almost hidden knowledge inside, and fear is not a good driving force. Ever. If we can learn to not be afraid of silence, if we can learn to not be afraid of stillness, if we can learn to drop our fear about whatever energy is buzzing around, we can become aware of ourselves.

First we become aware simply of the energies floating around. But after a while we become aware of where those energies lead to. And then, with practice, we become aware of how we are falling into those energies and the outcomes are not what we wanted. So then we slowly become aware of what we really do want, and more slowly still we become aware of what energies lead to what we really want, with a clear understanding of those that don't as well. And from this place, this incredible place of inner knowledge, we can make way better choices. We can choose to go with this particular energy because it is the energy that supports and surrounds what we really want, and we can choose to avoid that particular energy because it for sure doesn't.

This knowledge is there, unbidden, almost hidden, but it need only be beckoned to jump into full life and serve you. It takes some time to learn, but what a valuable tool, and how cool to make choices that underscore your happiness, rather than choices that end up in regret.

As always, choose well.

Blessings.
