One Thing

You can say you don’t like your [fill in the blank – job, relationship status, life] but here’s the BIG question – what is the one thing you are willing to do about it today? That really is a big question and in the answer lies the difference between someone who will accept that things suck (and bitch and complain about them) or someone who will explode out of their fear and DO SOMETHING.

This is not to say that you have to have an “A” type personality, do, do, do. (My teacher was fond of saying that this concept made people into human doings instead of human beings.) But you have to be willing to do something about the situation you are unhappy with. You have to be willing to contribute to your own condition of happiness.

No matter how messy, how screwy, how upset or depressed you are about any facet of your life, it’s only you who can change it. Miracles happen because you are willing to change; being willing to do one thing to change your circumstances changes the vibratory frequency of your being into “I am willing for change to happen.” And this is a huge shift in consciousness.

There is so much in life that needs exactly this consciousness – world hunger, poverty, war, problems in your community, problems at work, problems at home. All change, big or small, is dependent on your willingness to do one constructive, positive thing to change it. Today. Not every body is a shaker and a mover in the same way. Some people are willing to canvas others, other people are not. But everyone is capable of doing one thing.

Start today…look at the thing that is bothering you most and choose one positive, constructive action you will take to change it. Just one thing is all it takes.

Blessings.
