Get Started

My teacher once said, "When the time is on you, start, and the pressure will be off." And it's funny sometimes how you know somethign is true and thenyou experience something and know it's true, and then you experience somethign else and you know it's true, and this cycle keeps revolving and evolving. Eventually, if you take the knowledge further it becomes something you embody, something that permeates your cells and becomes a part of how you live life.

How many of us sit there stewing in whatever it is we are dealing with? Overwhelm, frustration, anger, resistance... you name it, and it is something that will hold you in a place of non-action. Until you get started.

All you need to do is one thing. Make one small change, the smallest thing you can think of, the one thing you can agree to do. And then do it.

Immediately the pressure is off. Action is like that. It is a shaker and mover in the most literal sense because it gives you a different experience immediately, which shifts perspective, which has shown you light outside of the stew.

Change needs that light, it needs the feeling of un-stuckness, and the only wya to get it is to get started.

Whatever isn't quite right in your life today, I invite you to see if there is one small thing you can do about it, and then to commit to doing it. If you do this exercise each day, you will find the things that bugged you, frustrated you, held you back the most will no longer have the power over you they did when you were stewing.

Get started.

Blessings.
