The Birth of the Present

The birth of the present means the death of past and future, those mantles we wrap ourselves up in and use to hold away from us the precious moment we so yearn for.

The birth of the present means that you may no longer use anger as your sustenance, your shield, your excuse not to live.

The birth of the present means that you take responsibility for how you responded to your past, and you no longer allow the circumstances of your past to define who you are, but rather define yourself by your strength, beauty, dignity, grace.

The birth of the present leaves no room for any excuses whatsoever, for not seizing this moment, and this moment and this moment.

Are you willing to shed these old skins? Are you willing to let go of the excuses you use to not live here, today, with your fullest being? Are you willing to drop fear and anger and let go of past pain to experience the glory of now?

The birth of the present requires this action.

Because otherwise there is nothing but a drab continuation of all that has been, all that has hurt you, all the pain you hold inside, all the fear of being hurt again and no sign of life, love, happiness, abundance, prosperity, intimacy, connection, joy...

The birth of the present means the death of past and future, those mantles we wrap ourselves up in and use to hold away from us the precious moment we so yearn for.

Today, every day, you may choose between the present and all the dead weight of past and the empty flight of future fancy. Choose well.

Blessings.
