The Passionate Expression of the Heart

The yearning for sweetness is when the heart is calling for passionate expression and it is not heard, its voice is buried under stress (wanting things to be different than they are), anger (wanting things to be different than they are), resistance (wanting things to be different than the way they are), resentment - fear - judgment (wanting things to be different than the way they are).

The passionate expression of the heart is not that you have to be somewhere else, doing something else, being someone else, it takes nothing out of the ordinary. The passionate expression of the heart is to find the sweet joyfulness of the moment. It is the wonderful smell of bread baking, it is a gulp of air after a morning run, it is the hug of a child, it is sleep when you need rest, food when you need nourishment, quiet when you need peace, movement when your body needs it.

Discomfort is the result of not living your passion, discomfort and an insatiable hunger for sweetness - and nothing will ever be sweet enough, nothing will ever be as sweet as the passionate expression of the heart. And when you know that, why resist?

Take today, take this moment, to live fully. Breathe in, breathe out and make room in your life for the passionate expression of your heart.

Blessings.
