There is no tomorrow

There is no tomorrow. By the time you get there, it is today. Moments, minutes, hours spent living the morrow are wasted when you come to find, today, that it is nothing like your mind's eye. Time spent thinking tomorrow will be better than it is right now, eludes the beauty of this moment and bodes poorly for the next as well; for, like the rabbit chasing the ever-elusive carrot, you end up always running away from Here.

There is no tomorrow. There is only this breath now, these words, this tone. There is this feeling in this moment, and in the next it will be gone. Cherish the moment is merely a poignant reminder that all of life flows by; and unless we are present enough to embrace it fully, it will be gone in an instant, leaving only regret in its wake.

Carpe diem.

Blessings.
